Christmas charity
Once again this year Polem is giving a nice amount as a Christmas donation to a charity, instead of promotional Christmas gifts.This year that charity is Stichting Kerstvrouwen Balk. They organize and offer help and/or give attention to people who are in a “difficult” period. Think of people who are dealing with death, illness, dismissal, loneliness or other personal circumstances.Yesterday we had a visit from the Christmas Women and handed them the voucher. We are happy to support this wonderful cause and the Christmas Women were very grateful. Hopefully this donation will provide additional Christmas magic in Balk. Happy holidays to all!

Silos for the future
We are proud to present our latest project in Poland in cooperation with Technology Unlimited. Polem has delivered no less than 9 impressive flour silos, divided over 3 different orders. These food-grade silos, with a diameter of 3.5 meters and a storage capacity of 90m³, are a true asset to our client's production capacity. At Polem Composite silos & tanks, we stand for innovation and quality, and this project is a perfect example of that. We are proud of our team and food safety expertise that made this possible. These new silos allow our client to produce more efficiently and sustainably. This is another step forward in our mission to provide the best storage solutions for various industries worldwide.
The Polem walking day
The Polem walking day 2024: tradition and team spirit on the longest day. Last friday, June 21, we experienced another amazing Polem walking day! This unique event once started with a small group of athletic colleagues who decided to walk to work on the longest day of the year. What started then as a spontaneous action has now become a beloved tradition within our company. Every year around the longest day, we gather in the picturesque town of Sloten at 05:15 in the morning. This year was no exception. From Sloten we started our joint walk to Lemmer, enjoying the beautiful scenery and each other's company. Along the way we also had a delicious breakfast, thanks to one of our colleagues who had volunteered to provide a fantastic breakfast for us. The atmosphere was fantastic and the team spirit was palpable with every step we took. It is always special to see how this day connects and inspires us as a team. We are already looking forward to the next Polem walking day!

A great moment at Polem Composite silos & tanks. Yesterday, another impressive 600m3 tank left our factory on its way to its destination by ship. The tank is meant for waste water at a dairy plant.
