Silos for the future
We are proud to present our latest project in Poland in cooperation with Technology Unlimited. Polem has delivered no less than 9 impressive flour silos, divided over 3 different orders. These food-grade silos, with a diameter of 3.5 meters and a storage capacity of 90m³, are a true asset to our client's production capacity. At Polem Composite silos & tanks, we stand for innovation and quality, and this project is a perfect example of that. We are proud of our team and food safety expertise that made this possible. These new silos allow our client to produce more efficiently and sustainably. This is another step forward in our mission to provide the best storage solutions for various industries worldwide.
The Polem walking day
The Polem walking day 2024: tradition and team spirit on the longest day. Last friday, June 21, we experienced another amazing Polem walking day! This unique event once started with a small group of athletic colleagues who decided to walk to work on the longest day of the year. What started then as a spontaneous action has now become a beloved tradition within our company. Every year around the longest day, we gather in the picturesque town of Sloten at 05:15 in the morning. This year was no exception. From Sloten we started our joint walk to Lemmer, enjoying the beautiful scenery and each other's company. Along the way we also had a delicious breakfast, thanks to one of our colleagues who had volunteered to provide a fantastic breakfast for us. The atmosphere was fantastic and the team spirit was palpable with every step we took. It is always special to see how this day connects and inspires us as a team. We are already looking forward to the next Polem walking day!

A great moment at Polem Composite silos & tanks. Yesterday, another impressive 600m3 tank left our factory on its way to its destination by ship. The tank is meant for waste water at a dairy plant. Proud of our recent cooperation in Belgium!
At our customer's site we were able to deliver our Tank type TVV 13/35/54, and together with our dedicated Service Engineer we successfully installed the tank in the building. What made this delivery extra special was the use of a special resin type and laminate construction to safely store the customer's medium (mixed acid). In addition, we carried out a Vlarem Keur incl. water test to ensure that everything was fully compliant. Our steelwork was treated with a duplex system (hot-dip galvanized and polyurethane coating in fire red), ensuring durability and safety.The cooperation with Client was extremely pleasant and we eagerly look forward to future projects. Together we are making the world a little safer!
New CEO Polem
We are delighted to announce that as of December 20, 2023, Frits Anema will take office as the new CEO of Polem B.V. in Lemmer. Frits will take over the responsibilities from Stefan Andersson, who has implemented many process improvements during his time at Polem and has laid a solid foundation for the future of Polem.Frits brings considerable experience in the field of commerce. We are confident that his expertise will contribute to the continued innovation and success of our company. Good cause Christmas donation
Once more this year Polem is giving a nice amount as a Christmas donation to a good cause, instead of promotional Christmas gifts.This year that charity is Voedselbank Lemsterland Foundation. All the work within the food bank is done by volunteers. Voedselbank Lemsterland is a foundation with the stated aim in its statutes of collecting foodstuffs provided free of charge and also distributing them free of charge to people who do not have sufficient means to support themselves.
