Salt dissolver and brine tanks for the Austrian winter road clearance service
To counteract slippery conditions, it is important to change quickly and at the right time.
Through our dealer Blumer&Lehmann, Polem supplied three composite brine storage tanks and a salt solvent for icing protection in Vienna.
The smaller tank is the brine solvent, which ensures the correct brine ratio. The brine water is stored in three 2400 mm tanks, each with a capacity of 45 m3 per tank. So you can get started immediately if required.
The beautiful orange color is available on customer request. We think it's a good choice!
This Austrian winter service works with large wooden silos for storing road salt. Wooden silos are mainly used when really large silos are needed (600 m3).Polem has also supplied many storage silos for salt storage for the winter service in recent years. Due to their resistance to corrosion and chemical stress, high insulation value and good drainage properties, composite silos are also an excellent choice.
