Project overview: Farmsum biogas plant
A completely new biogas plant is currently being constructed in Farmsum, which will become operational by mid-2025. SFP Groningen B.V. centered their approach around four core values: safety, sustainability, ease of maintenance, and reliability.
The storage capacity was filled with:
- 2 composite tanks of 272 m³
- 2 composite tanks of 100 m³
- Equipped with fixed cage ladders and crossover platforms for safe access
- Fully tailored to the specific requirements of biogas production
These tanks are specially designed for the challenges of the biogas sector: chemically resistant to aggressive substances, structurally strong, lightweight, and easy to inspect.
